Beijing University Founds Biomedicine Research Center
Beijing University set up a biomedicine research center Tuesday, December 12, to carry out interdisciplinary study in the field.
The research center involves a total investment of 5 million yuan (over US$600,000) from Beijing University, the most renowned university in China.
To carry out biomedical research along with other subjects has become a trend among world famous universities.
The new research center will initiate four interdisciplinary research projects on biomedical imaging, biomechanics, the environment and health and bio-information management.
It will also organize seminars and offer other academic exchange opportunities to promote the development of China's biomedicine research.
