China Tourist Commodities Fair 2000 to Open
China Tourist Commodities Fair 2000 is to be held in Wuhu, Anhui Province between December 16 and 19.
This is one of the largest nationwide fair of this kind that China has held so far to display its top-quality tourist commodities.
In the hope of improving the design, production and distribution of tourist commodities, and promoting tourism, the fair will open an exhibition center in Wuhu with a total exhibition area of 50,000 square meters and 1500 international booths.
As part of the fair, another three smaller fairs are to be held in Huangshan Mountain, Jiuhuashan Mountain, and Taiping Lake, respectively, all of which are famous tourist attractions.
Approximately 5000 businessmen, including 1000 foreigners, and 50,000 representatives and tourists are expected to attend the four-day event.
