Musharraf to Pay Day-long Visit to UAE

Pakistan Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf is leaving Monday, December 11, for a one-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and will hold talks with President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahiyan on bilateral relations.

The basic purpose of his visit is to inquire after the health of the UAE President, a senior official of the Foreign Office was quoted by the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) on Sunday as saying.

"The chief executive will convey sentiments of good wishes of the people of Pakistan and wish Sheikh Zayed good health," he said.

The chief executive will return to Islamabad later on Monday evening, the APP said.
