Chinese Trade Minister Leaves for Cuba, Colombia

Shi Guangsheng, minister of foreign trade and economic cooperation, left Beijing Sunday, December 10, for a visit to Cuba and Colombia.

During his visit, Shi will attend the opening ceremonies of the 13th meeting of China-Cuba Mixed Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation, and the 7th meeting of China-Colombia Mixed Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Shi is visiting the two countries at the invitation of Cuban Minister of Government Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz and Colombian Minister of Foreign Trade Martha Lucia Ramirez.

His entourage includes top executives of several leading Chinese enterprises, who expect to exchange views with their Cuban and Colombian counterparts on trade, investment and other ways of cooperation.
