Pardon Issued to Former Pakistani PM
A special pardon has been issued to convicted former Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the wee hours of Sunday, informed sources told Xinhua.
Sharif, who had been serving a life sentence, and his family members have received visas from the Saudi embassy and will leave for the kingdom on Sunday.
