India Asks Pak to Create Conditions for Resuming TalksIndia Friday asked Pakistan to create conducive conditions for resumption of the stalled bilateral dialogue through cessation of cross-border terrorism and hostile propaganda against it."Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's initiative announced on November 19 which is very positive and forward looking and constitutes a new idea," a foreign office spokesman told reporters in response to questions. He was asked about Government's response to remarks made by Pakistan Foreign Minister Abdul Sattat in an interview to an Indian paper that New Delhi should come out with ideas to resolve the Kashmir issue if the formulation put forth by Islamabad was not acceptable to it. |
