China to Launch Three Polices in Support of Non-State CompaniesChina will unveil several policies to shore up the development of non-state firms, revealed a senior official with the State Economic and Trade Commission (SETC) when attending the first China Non-State Enterprises Fair held in Kunming, capital city of southeast Yunnan province.Ma Jiantang, head of SETC's Comprehensive Division, said the State had once hammered out some policies for non-state enterprises but problems emerged in implementation. According to him, the State will at least launch three measures in the future to support non-state enterprises. First, relax control in a gradual way on areas that are off limit to non-state firms at present. In principle, non-state firms can access all the areas that are open to foreign companies and will thus enjoy a true national treatment. Second, improve the related supporting policies for non-state businesses, particularly that regarding registration, taxation, finance, charging, services and international trade. Third, improve services and cut examination procedure and administrative interference. |
