Chinese Divers Claim Two Golds at FINA Diving GP Super Final

Chinese divers dominated the third FINA Diving Grand Prix Super Final in Bangkok Saturday, December 9, by collecting all the two gold medals on stage.

Sang Xue won the women's 10-meter platform with 367.77 points while her teammate Xu Mian came second at 334.95.

The men's three-meter spring board gold medal went to Wang Tianling, beating his teammate Peng Bo who finished second at 446.76.

The two-day meet, the final of the 14-leg FINA Diving Grand Prix series, will close on Sunday. The gold medals of the women's three-meter spring board and the men's 10-meter platform will be decided Sunday.

This is also the first diving competition after the Sydney Olympic Games.

FINA Diving Grand Prix is gaining increasing popularity as an international circuit with a series of meets annually held around the world.
