Retrospective Show of Beijing's History Opens
The "Retrospective Show of Beijing's History in 20th Century" opens Friday in the Chinese Revolution Museum in Beijing.

With about 500 photographs and 200 objects, this show displays the historic changes Beijing has undergone in the political, economic and cultural fields, and social development during the past 100 years.

There are some precious objects that are first exposed to public at this show, which includes the gifts presented by foreign governments and friends, and the national flag carried by China's first spaceship "Shenzhou."

The show will last until January 3, 2001.
