Hainan Airlines Launches Scholarship Funds in Ten Universities

Hainan Airlines, China's only airline company listed on both the A and B share markets, has established scholarship funds in ten universities in an effort to support the development of the education sector.

The airlines has already set up scholarship funds in ten universities in big cities of Beijing and Tianjin, Xi'an, the capital of northwest China's Shanxi Province, and Hainan, the largest special economic zone in China etc.

The company also contributed 400,000 yuan (US$48,192) to Hannan University to finance construction of a library, and 100,000 yuan (US$12,048) to fund construction of the Hainan Airlines Primary School in Baisha, Hainan Province.
