China Saw Speedy Electricity Consumption Hikes

Rising electricity consumption always represents a country's social and economical progress. The first ten months had seen a speedily increased consumption amount of electricity by all industrial productive lines and trades in China since the country's economy took a turn for the better this year.

Statistics showed a total of 1,084.3bn Kwh of electricity has been generated, a 10.3% increase over the same period last year. Electricity supply for most industrial production lines and trades has registered a growth of over 10%.

Meanwhile, peoples' electricity consumption has also been in a speedily rising amount. Against a consumption total of 132.5bn Kwh of electricity by people in town and country, up 14.2% over the same period of last year, a 13% consumption growth has been registered in the rural areas.
