Forum on Manager Holding Stock to Open SoonSome 300 government officials, scholars and entrepreneurs are expected to gather in Beijing later this month to discuss issues concerning the system of managers holding stock.The forthcoming forum is called, "Forum II on Manager Holding Stock of China Enterprise." It will be co-sponsored by the Shanghai Securities Daily, the China Entrepreneur, the China Galaxy Securities Co., Ltd., and the Shanghai Realize Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. Participants will share their views on China's progress in this field, since the first such forum was held in 1999. Some Chinese enterprises have been experimenting with the manager holding stock system, and meanwhile, the China Securities Regulatory Council is expected to allow pilot programs on the issue, mostly concerning high-tech firms. |
