Armenian PM Visits ShanghaiArmenian Prime Minister Andranik Markarian, on his continuing China visit, arrived in Shanghai on December 6, and was met by Shanghai Mayor Xu Kuangdi December 6 evening.Xu briefed the prime minister on Shanghai's economic development, urban construction and development of the social security system in the city. Markarian said Shanghai's success serves as proof of China's reform and opening policy. He said Armenia could learn from the experiences of Shanghai. Markarian arrived in Beijing Monday for a week-long working visit. This is Makarian's first China tour since he assumed the post of prime minister. |
