Boat Collision Kills 13 People in Chongqing

A fresh investigation shows that the capsizing of a passenger ship in Chongqing killed 13 people, while 10 survived the accident.

The bodies of the victims have all been found and claimed by their family members.

The accident was caused by a collision between a private boat, without a license, and a ship carrying sand and stones on December 2 in Tongnan County of Chongqing, the largest metropolis in western China.

Police have detained the owners of the two boats for investigation.
