Medical Giants Joining Hands in Beijing
It is Beijing Tongren Hospital, Anzhen and Jishuitan, three large medical establishments known for their first-rate service and unique expertise in the capital, China and throughout the world.
The three have lately gone into cooperation bringing into being a large medical conglomerate "Capital United Medical Group" December 6.
The group is reported every member hospital forms part of the integral whole and each is to bring into fullest play its expertise and services needed.
Tongren claims fame for its ophthalmology and ENT department, Anzhen for its cardiology research. While Jishuitan boasts top expertise on orthopedics, traumatology and empyrosis. Each hospital draws on expertise and services of others when complementary services on a group scale are provided.
A policy-making committee consisting of leaders from the three hospitals has also been formed to guarantee smooth operation of the group.
