Expo on Mass Media Equipment Starts
China's first expo on advanced mass media equipment and web news services began the morning of December 6 at China International Exhibition Center (CIEC) in Beijing.
All-China Journalists Association, together with the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, and the State Press and Publication Administration, organized the three-day expo.
The expo will provide a chance for cooperation between the mass media nationwide and equipment manufacturers in this field, Zheng Mengxiong, executive vice-chairman of the association, said at the inaugural ceremony of the expo.
Meanwhile, the expo participants will meet to discuss further services from web news organizations.
Major news organizations like Xinhua News Agency and China Central Television, as well as influential news websites 21DNN and Sina are to participate in the expo.
