Govt Will Bring Criminals to Justice: Cambodian Premier

Prime Minister Hun Sen said Tuesday, December 5, that the Royal government will prosecute and punish criminals according to law.

The premier made the remarks Tuesday when addressing the inauguration of renovation of the National Road 5 in Pursat province, northwestern Cambodia, said a radio broadcast here this afternoon.

In his speech, Hun Sen expressed the hope that human right organizations should not use human rights as an excuse to protect what he called "terrorists."

On November 24, about 100 armed men launched attacks on government offices during which police had exchanged fire with them and finally arrested all the suspected criminals.
