Internet Exchange Center Opens in Shanghai
An Internet Exchange Center was put into operation in
Shanghai
Monday, December 4.
The center is the first regional broad-band Internet exchange center in China which links to 13 Internet companies in Shanghai. It will provide a series of services to its members including data exchanges.
Shanghai is one of the cities that witness fast Internet development in China. It has more than 20 large Internet Service Providers and over 2,000 websites with 1.8 million Internet users.
