Taiyuan Airport Claims Record Freight Flights to Russia

As Sino-Russian trade is mounting by the year, Taiyuan Airport in Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province, is witnessing rapid growth in the number of charted freight flights to Russia.

By the end of September this year, nearly 800 freight flights had taken off from the airport headed for Russia. This figure shows that Taiyuan airport has retained its place as China's main air outlet of freight to Russia.

Taiyuan Airport is one of the 13 Chinese airports opened so far between two countries.

China-made clothes and light industry products are hot selling on the Russian market, and machinery and precision instruments manufactured in Russia are well received in China.
