CWFH Receives Donation From Unilever (China)
Today, December 3, is the ninth "International Day of Disabled Persons". China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped (CWFH) received donation of haircare consumers goods worth one million yuan (US$120,000) from Unilever, one of the world's biggest producers of consumer goods.
Representatives from China Disabled Persons Federation (CDPF), CWFH, schools for blind, and Unilever (China), took part in today's donation ceremony.
Deng Pufang, chairman of CDPF, thanked Unilever for its help for the disabled people in China. The donation by Unilever has provided the disabled people with great convenience in life.
Unilever has over 80 years' cooperation history with China, and has helped establish 8 primary schools in poverty-stricken areas in China.
