Two Foreign Businessmen Granted "Chinese Green Card"

Qin Fanxiong (Chinese name) from Japan, president of Shanghai Shenming Electrical Machine Co Ltd and William Keller from Switzerland, president of Shanghai Roche Pharmaceutical Co Ltd were honored Permanent Residence by Shanghai Public Security Bureau on November 29.

Permanent Residence is considered to be the highest honor for foreigners in China, who can enjoy favorable policies on visa and other issues.

Since the founding of People's Republic of China, Shanghai has awarded permanent residence to four foreigners in total for their contributions.
