More than One Million Overseas Tourists Visit Guangxi

Guangxi
Zhuang Autonomous Region received 1.05 million overseas tourists in the first ten months of this year£Ĵaccording to the Regional Tourism Bureau.
The visitors are mostly from
Japan
, South Korea, the
United States
and Europe.
The region earned nearly US$2.5 millions from overseas tourism service during the January-October period, 45.19 percent higher than in the same period in 1999. It is expected to receive a total of 1.18 million overseas tourists for the whole of 2000.
