China Develops First High-Speed Diesel Mini-Van
The Wuling Automobile Company has developed China's first high-speed diesel mini-van in Liuzhou City, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The new vehicle is designed to run at a maximum speed of 95 km per hour. It adopts the LJ376QC engine developed by the Liuzhou Machinery Plant of the Wuling Automobile CompanyŁ¬ one of the country's five largest mini-van producers. It has passed technical assessment by relevant regional departments.
Compared to gasoline vans of the same type, the diesel mini-van is lower in oil consumption and noise levels, easier to service, and quicker to start.
