Beijing Reception Marks Lao National Day
The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) held a reception November 30 evening to mark the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
CPAFFC Vice-President Chen Yongchang and Lao Ambassador to China Soukthavone Keola reviewed the development of traditional Sino-Lao friendly and cooperative relations over the past years, expressing the belief that bilateral relations will achieve even greater progress in the new century.
Qian Zhengying, vice-chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), was among those attending the reception.
