China Info-Tech Summit 2000 Held in Shenzhen

China Info-Tech Summit 2000 was held in Shenzhen Wednesday morning. More than 600 representatives from domestic and foreign investment banks, risk funds, information technology companies gathered in the city to tap for China's investment projects of great potentials in the field of information technology.

The summit was hosted by China Internet Group based in American Silicon Valley, and co-hosted by People Online and RED HERRING, an American famous media. The summit also got the supports from Ministry of Information Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology and Shenzhen municipal government.

Zhu Xinmin, vice president of People's Daily addressed at the summit about development of People Online and the new trend of network media. China Info-Tech Summit will be held once every year and China Internet Venture Conference will be held twice per year.
