Sanyo to Launch Wholly-Owned Lithium Battery Enterprise in Beijing

The Sanyo Company of Japan£¬the world's leading rechargeable battery producer, has announced its decision to build a wholly-owned lithium battery enterprise in Beijing' Xingwang International Industrial Park.

The enterprise, Sanyo Energy (Beijing) Co., Ltd. will be built at a total investment of US$29 million and have a registered capital of twelve million US dollars. It is scheduled to manufacture lithium batteries next March.

It will be located in the Xingwang International Industrial Park of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone.
