Chinese Vice Premier to Visit Russia

Vice Premier Li Lanqing will head a delegation of the Chinese government to Russia, where he will co-chair with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Valentina Matviyenko the first session of the China-Russia Cooperation Committee on Education, Culture, Health and Sports and pay an official visit to Russia from December 3rd to December 12th.

Li is expected to have a comprehensive and in-depth exchange of views with Russian leaders on furthering the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue made the announcement at a regular press conference Tuesday, November 28.
