Chinese, Nepalese Businessmen Meet

The fourth meeting of the Sino-Nepalese Non-Government Cooperation Forum was convened November 28 in Wuxi, in east China's Jiangsu Province, according to sources at the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC).

Jing Shuping, a vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and president of the ACFIC, addressed the meeting and expressed his hope that it will help promote cooperation between business people from the two countries.

The ACFIC is willing to help China's private firms cooperate with small businesses in Nepal, Jing said.

At the meeting, representatives from the two countries shared their views on a number of issues concerning the Sino-Nepalese economic cooperation.

The forum was jointly established in October 1996 by the ACFIC and its Nepalese counterpart, with the support of governments of the two countries.
