World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention to Be Held in East China

The Sixth World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention is scheduled to be held in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, from September 17 to 19 next year.

About 6,000 well-known Chinese business people from all over the world are expected to participate in the meeting, which will carry the theme of Chinese entrepreneurs jointly promoting peaceful development and mutual prosperity in the new century.

Trade and investment talks will also be held during the two-day meeting.

Nanjing, the host, has already begun to make preparations for the convention, including improving local traffic facilities and scenic spots.

The world Chinese entrepreneurs convention was initiated in 1990 by Chinese chambers of commerce in Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong. It was previously held in Singapore; Hong Kong; Bangkok, Thailand; Vancouver, Canada; and Melbourne, Australia.
