Barak Condemns Car BombingIsraeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak condemned the car bombing on the evening of November 22 in Israel's northern city of Hadera, saying it was "another barbaric attack against innocent civilians."At least two people were confirmed dead and 35 others injured, including five in critical condition, when a powerful bomb exploded near a bus in Hadera, according to media reports. "The Palestinian Authority is totally responsible for the attack (due to its) releasing Hamas and Islamic Jihad (Holy War) members, encouraging them, guiding their people to carry out terror attacks," Barak said. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack. But Israeli security said the explosion had "all the hallmarks of a attack by Hamas," or Islamic Resistance Movement. "The state of Israel will settle accounts with the perpetrators and those sending them," Barak added. He is to hold an emergency cabinet meeting later Wednesday to discuss the situation. The explosion occurred in Hanasi Street, a main street in Hadera, which lies between the coastal cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa, and a number of shops have been damaged, Israeli police said.
