The ministers are expected to review the Eminent Persons Group Report on Steps Toward Achieving ASEAN's Vision 2020, submitted by the Singapore delegation.

During the two-hour closed door meeting, they will also review the Report on ASEAN-Japan Consultation Conference on the Hanoi Plan of Action.

Meanwhile, ASEAN economic ministers are also holding an informal meeting here after which they will sign the Protocol Regarding the Implementation of the Common Effective Preferential Tariff (CEPT) Scheme Temporary Exclusion List.

The foreign and economic ministers' meetings are meant to prepare for the forthcoming fourth ASEAN Informal Summit on Friday (November 24).
