CPPCC Vice-Chairman Meets Australian Delegation

Zhou Tienong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met November 21 with a delegation from the Australian Political Exchange Council led by Julia Gillard, a member of the Australian Federal Parliament.

Zhou said that friendly relations between young people of the two countries are an important part of Sino-Australian relations, and exchanges between young leaders of the two sides will help promote the growth of bilateral ties.

The Australian delegation is in Beijing at the invitation of the All- China Youth Federation.
