Chinese Senior Officer Meets Russian Guest
Wang Ke, director of the General Logistics Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, met in Beijing November 22 with Vasily Kuznetsov, first deputy minister of the General Department of Military Budget and Finance of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation.
Wang, also a member of the Central Military Commission, said that a Sino-Russian strategic and cooperative partnership is the right choice for the two countries, and is a requirement of safeguarding world peace and stability as well. China is willing to be Russia's "good friend, good neighbor and good partner," he added.
Wang believed that Kuznetsov's visit will promote the military relations between China and Russia, and will further the cooperation between the budget and finance departments of the two armed forces.
Kuznetsov said that the two armed forces should strengthen contacts and cooperation so as to promote reciprocal relations.
