Canadian-Made Plane Start Flying in China

The first Dash8-Q400 planes in China, made by Canada's Bombardier Aerospace Regional Aircraft, got off the ground and took flight on November 22.

The plane was imported by Chang An Airlines Co. Ltd of China and will fly between two provincial capitals in northwest China --Xi'an of Shaanxi and Yinchuan of Ningxia.

According to a company source, the capacity of the plane is 78 passengers and the maximum voyage distance is 2,392 kilometers.

Its cruising speed is 648 kilometers per hour.
