China Opens Training Class for Macao Headmasters
A school management training class for headmasters of schools in the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) opened Wednesday in this east China metropolis.
The training class, sponsored by the Chinese Education Association of Macao, was organized by a training center based at the East China Teachers' University in Shanghai.
This is the first time that educating institutions from the Chinese interior and Macao have jointly held such training courses.
Some 27 headmasters from Macao SAR, along with officials from the Chinese Education Ministry and the SAR government, attended the opening ceremony held at the university.
Education experts and officials from education departments will present reports during the training program, which lasts for nine days. Headmasters from Macao will also visit local schools and attend meetings with principals from other regions of China.
