China to Hold 2003 ISST

At the International Student Federation (ISF) Meeting held in Portugal, the Chinese delegation led by Yang Liguo, secretary-general of the Chinese Student Sports Association, successfully won the right on behalf of China to host 2003 International Student Soccer Tournament (ISST).

Member countries of the ISF will send their teams to take part in soccer matches of the ISST, which is to be held at the highest level of all soccer matches organized by ISF in every four years.

Currently, the Preparatory Committee of 2003 China ISST is busy selecting an appropriate city to host 2003 ISST matches. Full preparations including setting up a Chinese student soccer team have all been underway.
