China's First "Air Car" Debuts
AC500 is a five-seated business mini plane, and China's first to date, newly made by Nanchang Hongdu Machinery Plant, jointly developed by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronuatics and Nanjing Light Aircraft Co.Ltd.
AC500 is estimated to be at a market price of RMB$3m. Designed and made by Chinese manufacturers on their own, filling in a blank in China's business mini plane manufacture, it augurs the fine date to be bought and used by Chinese individuals in a not too distant future. With a flying speed of 250km/hour and a distance up to 1000km at a stretch, the plane is good to be used for business flights by government institutions and large enterprise groups.
