China's Computer Virus-Proof-and-Killer Products Claimed the Best
An initial evaluation upon computer virus-proof-and-killer products was launched in China's exclusive Examination Center on Products for Prevention and Curing of Computer Virus, according to the "Evaluation Standard on Computer Virus-proof-and-killer Products" GA243-2000 of the P.R China.
In this world contest of virus-proof products, the PC and Network versions of the Rising Software carried away the laurel in the evaluation, and the runners-up went respectively to Tianheng Security Network Virus-proof System and KV2000 for PC. The result has ranked China at the world top in the virus-proof and-killing technology.
As reported, all virus-killing products of both home-or-foreign-made on sales in the domestic market have participated in the evaluation. They include products of self-R&D ones, famous brands from alien lands, and old brands as well as some new ones.
The said evaluation was made to raise the technical performance and quality of virus-proof products, strengthen the efforts of R&D, so as to ensure the safety of the PC and network users.
