Accident in Sichuan Kills 17
A major traffic accident in Mianning County in southwest China's
Sichuan
Province on Sunday killed 17 people and injured 12 others.
Due to slippery roads from the snow, a privately-owned bus heading for Zhangjiahe Dam overturned at Maidi Township.
After hearing reports on the accident, leading officials of Mianning County rushed to the venue to organize rescue efforts.
