Many Problems Solved in Pakistan

Pakistani Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf has said that many of the country's problems had been solved during the last one year while a lot of more needed to be done.

Musharraf made the remarks while addressing the troops during his visit to the exercise area in Lahore on Sunday, according to newspaper The News.

He said that as a result of strenuous efforts of the Pakistan Army, the country had been put on the track of development and prosperity.

"The nation has been pulled out of the adverse situation during the last one and a half year and we will continue to go head on the pass of national development and prosperity," he said.

He was of the view that the country was not facing any danger at the moment.
