China's First Intangible Assets Research Institute Established

China's first intangible assets research institute, Tianjin Intangible Assets Research Institute was established November 19 in Tianjin, a large city in North China.

This institute's aim is to develop theories and methods of intangible assets management suited to China's conditions, publicizing national laws and policies on intangible assets, and providing possible services to enterprises' intangible assets management.

A group of experts and scholars in this city have been studying the management of intangible assets since early 1980s, and currently are leading in this area nationwide.
