Two Palestinian Policemen, One Teenager Killed in Gaza

Two Palestinian policemen and a teenager were killed during two separate clashes with the Israeli troops in Gaza Strip on Sunday morning, a Palestinian source said.

The two policemen were shot dead during clashes in Khan Yunis while the 14-year-old boy was killed in clashes at Karni checkpoint, both in Gaza Strip, according to the source.

Israeli army later closed the Karni checkpoint, east of Gaza, on the pretext that there was shooting against Israeli soldiers from the Palestinian areas this morning. The move would block food and basic goods from entering the Palestinian territory.

In the meantime, two blasts occurred at the Gaza-Egypt borders Sunday morning, but no casualties or damages were reported, eye witnesses said.

The bloody clashes between the Palestinians and Israeli troops have claimed over 240 lives, mostly Palestinians, and left thousands others wounded since late September.
