Fake Medicine Destroyed in Shanghai

A batch of fake and shoddy medicine worth more than two million yuan was destroyed publicly Saturday in Shanghai, the leading industrial center of China.

The medicine was destroyed at the founding ceremony of a special team put together to inspect fake and shoddy medicine in the municipality.

The team is comprised 80 members and works under the Shanghai Medicine Supervision Administration.
