Chinese Power Plant Equipment Supplier Won African Market
Hadian Group, China's pillar supplier of power plant equipment, recently signed a milestone contract with Sudanese Electricity Company in Khartoum, capital of Sudan, Africa, a group official said.
The contract is valued at US$150 million. The contract got supplier's credit by China Import and Export Bank.
Facing a declining international market in Southeast Asia and South Asia, the group reconstructed its marketing strategy and put more emphasis on Africa. It sent technical specialists to track down the program and after three years finally signed the contract with the
Sudan
partner.
