2nd-Phase Work for Beijing's 2008 Olympic Bid on the Run

2008 Olympics bid is an intense world competition between strong opponents, calling for learning experiences and borrowing on wisdom on the part of Beijing from all other counterparts throughout the world.

Beijing has a galaxy of talents; great demands have been raised by it for more improved work to see to it that all positive factors be brought into full play to back up Beijing's 2008 Olympics bid, said Jia Qinglin, secretary of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, on November 15.

Stringent high-efficient organizational constructive work is most important for Beijing's 2008 Olympic bid, according to Jia. He said good reception work must be guaranteed and warm reception given to notables and experts from various representative Olympic international sports organizations of events and IOC evaluation group's advent scheduled March coming year to ensure 2008 Olympics be held in Beijing.
