South China Province Reports Rapid Foreign Trade Growth
South China's Hunan Province, an inland province, has reported a rapid foreign trade increase during the first 10 months of this year.
According to the latest statistics, during the period the province's total export and import volume reached US$2.02 billion, up 35.1 percent on the same period last year.
This is the first time that Hunan has achieved a total export and import volume of over 2 billion US dollars, an official source with the province said.
According to the statistics, the major trade partners of Hunan are the US, Hong Kong, Japan, Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Iraq and Thailand, and the main products being exported are mechanical and electronic products, textiles, ores, fireworks and pork products.
