China to Hold Seminar on E-Business in USChina plans to host a seminar in New York on November 21 to discuss the nation's accession into the World Trade Organization(WTO) and e-business development.Some 200 government officials, entrepreneurs, experts and scholars specializing in banking and investment from the two nations will attend the seminar, which is co-sponsored by China Electronic Commerce Association, Chinese consulate in New York and other organizations. Major topics on the agenda include the WTO's impact on China's foreign trade and e-business development and strategies of Chinese enterprises to respond to them. The organizers hope that the seminar will help US business circles know more about the present situation and prospect of China's E-business market. The United States has become China's second largest trade partner. Statistics show that the Sino-American trade volume amounted to some US$34 billion in the first six months of the year, up 26.3 percent over the same period of last year. |
