China Cuts Prices for Gasoline, Diesel Oil

The prices for gasoline and diesel oil in China will be reduced 250 yuan and 130 yuan per ton, respectively, as of November 17, according to a notice issued by the State Development Planning Commission.

The notice says that the decision to cut the prices was made in line with the change of oil prices in the international market.

The notice asks major oil suppliers in the country to make efforts to ensure abundant market supply and also demands that oil dealers strictly comply with the stipulated prices.
