Three Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli troops Friday afternoon reportedly during attempt to place bombs around the Meraj Jewish settlement, in southern Gaza Strip, Radio Israeli reported.

Meanwhile, another Palestinian was killed during clashes with the Israeli soldiers in Kalkilia, northern West Bank, according to a medical source in the Palestinian self-rule city.

Mahmoud Samour, 38, suffered a bullet wound during the encounters which took place after the Friday prayers and died later at the hospital, the source added.

The deaths brought to 241 the number of Palestinians killed during bloody clashes with Israeli forces that erupted on September 28. Over 6,000 more Palestinians were also injured during the confrontation.
