Lanzhou to Accelerate Information Development””
This capital city of northwest China's Gansu Province will invest 900 million yuan to build 10 key information projects in the upcoming five years.
They include a high-speed, wide-band, large-capacity information network, an Internet and data-exchange platform characterized by a fiber-optic transmission system with the use of satellite and microwave.
Others will be on an E-commerce platform, intelligent automation residential quarters, remote education network and a software park.
Meanwhile, the city will speed up construction of a digital network which combines phonemes-voice, data with images.
